Complete Roof Replacement
Your new conservatory will be fitted with a new ring beam. That’s the frame that sits around the top of your conservatory. You will feel like you have a brand new room. If you choose a tiled roof, the ceiling will look like plaster and you can even have lights in the ceiling.
Many homeowners think they need a whole new conservatory and are delighted to find that they only need to change the roof. In most cases, the existing window frames are perfectly good. You can choose to freshen up window boards and handles if you want to.

Roof Only Conservatory Refurbishment
Regardless of whether you choose a glass, polycarbonate or tiled roof, your conservatory should only be out of action for a few days.
Your conservatory roof conversion should be completed with minimum disruption to you. Every piece is precision engineered for your conservatory, ready to be fitted by your installer. There’s no cement mixing or building mess for you to deal with. We will dispose of your old roof as part of our service. Your installation will not affect flooring furniture or side blinds, although they may need to be removed for installation, depending on where they were installed.
This is a great opportunity to replace or thoroughly clean furniture and fittings.
Can You Change the Shape of the Conservatory Roof?
The good news is that you can change the shape of your roof within certain constraints. What permanent marks are left on the house wall? If the wall was plastered to the height of the roof, you might prefer us to work with that footprint. Extra plastering is no problem, but removing plaster can be tricky.
Note that the conservatory in the picture shown has an angled corner. Originally, the glass roof would have followed this line. Creating the extra ridges to follow this line would have meant more expense, so it makes sense to square off the roof.

How Much Does a Replacement Conservatory Roof Cost?
This is a question that everyone wants to know the answer to before getting a quote for a replacement conservatory roof. It really does depend on the type of roof, the size and configuration. Some projects may need new guttering, or you may choose to combine light with insulation. These and other items will affect the cost.
The lowest cost roof is polycarbonate, followed by glass, then solid tiles. Also, consider whether you need extra insulation, blinds and heating costs.
